Barbara Templeton Blair,84, of Heritage Village, Southbury, died peacefully September 3, 2018 at River Glenn HCC, after a brief illness due to heart failure and lung cancer.  She was born  April 2, 1934 in Wyomissing, PA to Templeton and Emma (Gill) Blair. A memorial mass was celebrated December 9, 2018 at the Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem, CT.  Arrangements were handled by Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St. North, Southbury, CT. Barbara was an intrepid traveler, interested in many cultures, religions, languages, and places.  She drove her Volkswagen to all 48 contiguous states and flew to the others.  Her favorite countries were Scotland, where her father was born, and India, where she made many friends. Blessed with an inquiring mind and a lively intellect, she graduated from Middlebury College, continued her studies at St. John's, and Fordham University,  and earned a Ph.D. from The Graduate Theological Foundation, Il. Her warm and generous spirit will be missed.
