Barbara Jean Szabo, 65, of Southbury CT, died Tuesday the 10th of October at Regional Hospice Center in Danbury CT, holding the hand of her husband of 43 years Frank. Barbara was born in 1952 in Bridgeport, CT daughter of the late Thaddeus and Lottie Bielski. She was a graduate of Trumbull High School, Class of 1970.

Barbara had primarily worked in office management positions throughout Connecticut, where her dedication and attention to detail made her an asset wherever she worked. Barbara loved good food, good wine, and socializing with family and friends. Always arranging the holiday meals and family parties that brought everyone together.

She is survived by her husband, Frank, of Southbury CT, daughter, Jacquelyn Jackson, of Hudson MA, daughter Stephanie Lang, of Southington CT , granddaughter, Lilliana, of Southington CT, mother-in-law Catherine.

Calling hours will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Friday, October 20th at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St N, Southbury, CT. A memorial mass will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 21, at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St S, Southbury, CT.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Regional Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 30 Milestone Rd. Danbury, CT 06810 which had fantastic staff and care to assist Barbara in her final days.
