Audrey (Burr) Hydar, 80, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Torrington Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Audrey was born on February 26, 1935 in Piscataway, New Jersey. Audrey is the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret E. Burr.
Audrey worked as a CNA for numerous years at River Glen in Southbury while residing in Woodbury, raising her family for approximately 18 years.
Besides her family, Audrey loved to go on bus trips with friends, gardening, country line dancing, knitting, sewing, ceramics, and watching WWE wresting as well as NASCAR racing, Audrey also showed a love for all animals but was especially fond of horses.
Audrey leaves behind a daughter, Debra Perry of Torrington, a son, Fred Hydar Jr and his wife Shelley of Woodbury, and a daughter, Alison Gracy and her husband Scott of Thomaston.
Besides her children, Audrey leaves behind 6 grand-children; Christina Brague, Jill Perry, Richard and Heather Gracy, and Rebecca and Travis Hydar. Nine great grand-children: Anthony and Crystal Urbano, Ashley Perry, Alyssa Danka, Kaitlyn Fontaine, Angel, Star and David John Brague of Fla. And Brian Loulis. Along with two great, great grand-children: Kaylee Piccirillo and Scarlett Urbano.
