Audrey (Doering) Bolin age 94, died peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2015. She was the widow of Norman Bolin. Audrey was born on February 13, 1921 in Queens, NY, the daughter of Herman and Agnes (Stroh) Doering. She was a long term resident of Sparta, New Jersey before moving to Maplewood Senior Living Center in Danbury, CT. She graduated from Jamaica High School in 1939 and attended Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ to study Fashion Design. Audrey was an avid bowler. She instructed and coached junior bowlers and was a bowling league secretary for over 50 years. Audrey attended the National Women's International Bowling Congress (WIBC) bowling tournament/conference for more than 40 conservative years. She continued to bowl until 2013. Audrey was also very involved in Square Dancing. An accomplished seamstress, she made almost all of her own square dancing outfits along with her husband's. Audrey and Norman served as Co-Presidents and other executive officers of the Northern New Jersey Square Association (NNJSDA). Audrey and Norman were selected to dance at the 1986 Statue of Liberty Bicentennial closing ceremony. She leaves two sons, Kenneth of Southbury, Connecticut and Donald of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, two grandchildren, Jason Bolin of Watertown, Connecticut and Stephanie Griffin of Bethel, Connecticut. She also leaves a great grandson, Maxwell Michael Bolin.
Memorials: Donations can be made to Maplewood Senior Living at 22 Hospital Avenue, Danbury, CT 06810 or to Regional Hospice of Connecticut, 30 Milestone Road, Danbury, Connecticut 06810. Both took loving care of Audrey in her final months.

Funeral: South Britain Congregational Church
Services: Burial will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey at a later date.
Visitation: Calling Hours will be on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4: 00 p.m. to 6: 00 p.m. at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street, Woodbury, Connecticut.
