Arthur H. Portnoy passed away early on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Born in Charlottesville, VA, he was the son of Theodore and Mollie Portnoy of Warrenton, VA.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jane.T. Portnoy and has two children, Rebecca P. Kunzmann of Ridgefield, CT and David A Portnoy and his wife, Heather, of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by his granddaughters Riley Kunzmann and Jaime Kunzmann of Ridgefield, CT.

He attended Randolph-Macon Academy, W & L University and the University of Virginia, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws.

Due to military and work assignments, he and his family lived in many parts of the world, settling in Connecticut in 1978.

A Remembrance will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St N., Southbury, CT from 2 PM to 4 PM.
