Arthea M. Sillari, 86, of Heritage Village died Tuesday November 14th at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dr. Edward A. Sillari. Mrs. Sillari was born June 3, 1920 in Bristol, NH daughter of the late Raymond A. and Marion (Cull) Mitchell.
She attended Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, where she had worked as a school teacher before starting a family. She had lived in Danbury where she was a member of the Lioness' Club, and was on The Board of Directors of the VNA.
She is survived by 2 sons, Edward E. Sillari of Glen Ellen, Ca., Raymond A. Sillari of Scottsdale, AZ a daughter Margaret Sillari-O'Brien of Waterbury, 2 sisters Rae Fenton of East Dennis, Ma., Marie Doran of Shoreham, Vermont, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A memorial mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Main Street South in Southbury on Friday November 17th at 10:00am. A private burial will be held in the St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keene, NH. Friends may call the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere 235 Main Street North Route 6 from 7 to 9 pm on Thursday November 16th.
