Antonia S. Toni Pond, 94, of Southbury, formerly of Bridgeport, died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 18. Mrs. Pond was the wife of the late George W. Pond of Bridgeport. She was a resident of Southbury and a member of Sacred Heart Church for the past 30 years. She had formerly been active in the Bridgeport Park City Little league Mother's Association, St. Charles Church Ladies Auxiliary of Bridgeport and was a long time administrative assistant to the president of the Fairfield Equipment Company in Fairfield, CT. She leaves her son George J. Pond, daughter-in-law Sande Pond and her beloved grandchildren, Asheley and Christopher Pond; her sister Mary Zahornasky of Shelton and many nieces and nephews.
