Mr. Anthony Paul Polmon, 90, of Southbury died Monday October 11, 2010 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lascadia (Romanauskas) Polmon. Mr. Polmon was born October 29, 1919 in Plantsville, a son of the late John and Agnes (Gremila) Polmon, Sr. He was a private in the Army, serving as a bazookaman in Europe during WWII. He retired as an executive with Dav-Matic Inc. Mr. Polmon was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Southbury, a member of the Knights of Lithuania and VFW Post #1607 in Southbury.
He is survived by a son David A. Polmon and his wife Carol Stephenson - Polmon of Southbury, a daughter Sandra O'Brien of Niantic, 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services: Funeral Thursday, October 16 at 9: 00 a.m. from the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North to Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury for a mass at 10: 00 a.m.Burial will follow with military honors in New North Cemetery, Woodbury.
Visitation: Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday October 13th from 6 - 8pm.
