Middlebury- Anthony J. Bozza (Tony), 76, of Middlebury, passed away on October 24, 2022 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Lori Pollard Bozza for 40 years.

Anthony was born on December 13, 1945 in White Plains, NY, the son of Anthony and Antoinette ( Aiello) Bozza. He was an avid athlete obtaining a full ride to Dayton University for football, where he graduated in Mechanical Engineering.  He furthered his education earning a Master's degree in Applied Engineering.  He later achieved a Class 4 license in Wastewater Management where he managed the Veolia - Danbury, Ct facility until he retired.

As an engineer, Tony had his own business, A & T Engineering, for 15 years starting 1981, in Woodbury, Ct.  He resided in Woodbury, with his family, until he retired in 2007 to Pawleys Island, SC.

Tony loved beach camping with his family and traveled along the east coast starting in Montauk Long Island and making their way to Myrtle Beach, SC before deciding to build their retirement home in Pawleys Island, SC.

Tony's passion for sports continued through his love for coaching.  He had many fond memories of all his fellow coaches and athletes from the Brookfield Pop Warner and High School football programs, as well as all his Little League Baseball players in Woodbury.

Besides his wife Lori, Anthony is survived by his three children, Thomas Bozza and daughter in-law Kelly Adkins, Caitlyn Bozza, and Stephanie Shay and son in-law Ryan Shay.  He had six grandchildren Elodie Shay 6, Boone Shay 4 Pope Shay 1, Caiden Rich 8, Marie Kennedy 4 and Dakota Bozza 2.  Baby Ophelia was waiting for him in his final resting place, as well as his beloved puppy Bella.
