Anne L. (Franson) Miller,88, passed away peacefully on Friday November 27, 2009 at The Lutheran Home of Southbury with her immediate family by her side. She is now in the loving arms of The Lord.

Mrs. Miller was born February 12, 1921 in Norwalk, CT daughter of the late Charles and Hannah Franson. She lived in Woodbury for the last 18 years before moving from Redding CT where she lived since 1956.

She worked for many years as a doctor's assistant in Redding.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she enjoyed reading biographies, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, watercolor, golf and took pride in the accomplishments of her family and friends . The modified stock car #11 , out of Wells, Vt. was a source of special pride to her. She especially loved to make people happy and had a smile and kind word for everyone she met. Her sense of humor and generosity brightened many people's lives.

She leaves her son and daughter -in-law, Donald & Patricia Miller Jr. of Wells , Vermont., Her daughter , Donna Marschalk of Newtown, Ct. a grandson and his wife Donald & Jennifer Miller III, of Wells, Vermont, a granddaughter and her husband, Kate and Christopher Travis of Naugatuck,CT. and two wonderful great grandsons, Donald M. Miller IV & Lyle C. Miller of Wells, Vt.

She was predeceased by a brother , Herbert Franson.
