Anna Tranchina, 94 of Woodbury died Sunday May 10th, 2015. She was the widow of the late Salvatore Tranchina.

Mrs. Tranchina was born February 14, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Finisia (Squitieri) Cordella. She was a long time resident of Long Island, New York before moving to Woodbury in 1996 to be near her daughter.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves her three children and their spouses; Joseph Tranchina and his wife Gabriele, Daniel Tranchina and his wife Laura Vecchione, her daughter Juliann Moskowitz and her husband Steven and seven grandchildren.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11: 30 A.M. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at St. Teresa of Avila Church, Woodbury, CT Burial will take place at Pine Lawn Memorial Garden in Farmingdale, New York at 2: 30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

Visitation: Calling Hours are from 6: 00 P.M. to 8: 00 P.M. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School St. Woodbury, CT
