Obituary

Mrs. Anna (Pavan) Stolfi passed away on February 8th, 2022 at the Southington Care Center peacefully with her family by her side. She was the widow of Peter P. Stolfi. Anna was born on December 28, 1933 in Allentown, PA to Teresa (Nardari) Pavan and Vittorio Pavan. The family moved to Connecticut shortly after her birth and settled in Middlebury. She attended local schools and Wilby High School in Waterbury. She married, moved to Wolcott and raised her family while working and eventually retired from Dossert Corporation in Waterbury. She and her husband Pete then moved to Milldale, CT.

Anna's greatest love was that of her family. She was a doting mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, enjoying nothing more in life than hosting Sunday dinners, babysitting, playing pinochle, or Scrabble, and the occasional road trip. She loved to do crossword puzzles and was such a voracious reader that it was hard to find a fictional mystery she had not already read!

Anna leaves behind daughters Cheryl Donovan and Michele Flugrad of Milldale, and a son Robert Stolfi and his wife, Tamara, of Windham, ME. She also leaves granddaughters Dr. Rebecca Flugrad/Sicinsky, her husband, Francisco, and their children, Ramsey and Riley, Chelsea Apicella and her husband Nicolas, Samantha Flugrad and her partner, Corey Glasson, and her grandson, Kenneth Flugrad and his wife, Leann.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank all of Anna's caregivers at Keep Me Home and more recently Southington Care Center. Thanks also to Dr. Edmund Quinn and his staff who treated Anna for many years. Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home of Woodbury is in charge of arrangements.

In keeping with Anna's wishes, services and burial will be private and at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to: Shriners Hospital for Children po box 1525, Ransen, WV 25438.
