SOUTHBURY- Mrs. Ann (Putnam) Peterson, 91 of Southbury, died Friday August
13, 2010 at Pomperaug Woods Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late
Dr. Guy S. Peterson, Jr.

Mrs. Peterson was born April 26, 1919 in Lakewood, Ohio, daughter of the
late Edward W. and Lucille (Baumgardner) Putnam and has resided
in Southbury since 1981. She was member of the Heritage Village Women's Exchange
and its' library and volunteered at the Southbury Community Thrift Shop. She
also volunteered as a docent at the Glebe House in Woodbury. Mrs. Peterson was a
member of the Church of the Epiphany and volunteered in the Upper Room at the church.
She enjoyed reading, knitting and needlepoint.

She leaves a daughter, Caralyn P. Stevens and her husband Douglas of Greenwich, three grandchildren, Ann Hichak, Kristin Stevens and Caralyn Darling, two great grandchildren, Tom and Sam Darling and 10 nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son Guy S. Peterson, III and a daughter Martha
Peterson.
