Obituary

Mrs. Ann "Billie" Miller, 91, of Southbury died Saturday February 13, 2010 at Pomperaug Woods Health Center. She was the widow of Raymond F. Miller, Sr.
Mrs. Miller was born July 14, 1918 in New York, NY a daughter of the late John and Anna Catherine (McSweeney) Cassidy. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Billie lived in Huntington, New York before moving to Heritage Village in Southbury, Ct in 1980 where she resided for 26 years, serving on the Board of the Women's Exchange. She then moved to Pomperaug Woods in Southbury, Ct in 2005 where she was an active member of their community. She was an avid bridge player, having played her last game only 2 weeks ago. She also loved knitting, sewing and bowling.
Billie is survived by two sons, Tim Miller and Tony Miller, two daughters, Penny Mutter and Anne Gilson, eight grandchildren, Kurt Miller, Gretchen Ake, Craig Mutter, Anne Zamitalo, Christopher Mutter, Lindsey Adams, Timothy Voorheis and Michelle Miller, and thirteen great-grandchildren, Emily, Grace, Drew, Reed, Hadley, Lottie, Margot, Alexandra, Victoria, Jacqueline, Nicholas, Reese and Cate, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister Rosemary Berman.

Funeral: Sacred Heart Church

Services: A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday February 16th at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury, Ct. Burial will take place in the spring at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Southbury.

Visitation: There are no calling hours.
