Andrea (Drea) M. Stevens, 81, of Middlebury, peacefully passed away on March 23, 2025, at her home in Middlebury. Her life was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family, a deep commitment to her faith, and a vibrant spirit that touched all who knew her.

Born on July 27, 1943 in Waterbury, Conn. to Burton Ives and Roseanne Hebert Stevens, Drea grew up in Waterbury. She graduated from the Cornell Nursing School with a Masters degree in Nursing and spent most of her nursing career practicing in Santa Monica CA before returning to Connecticut after her retirement.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara (Babe) Diane Stevens of New York City, Nancy Hebert Stevens of Woodbury and her nephew, MacLean Bates Stevens of Woodbury.

Left to honor and cherish her memory are her brothers, Burt Stevens of Woodbury and Richard Stevens of Waterbury; as well as her nieces and nephews; Helen (Ray) Bird, John (Bernadette) Maxwell, Beau Maxwell, Shep (Jen) Stevens, and Dr. Laura Chan, as well as her many friends.
