Amrutkumar Patel, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 19, 2020 after his battle with ALS. He is survived by his wife Jyostana, his son Bhavik, his daughter Hatali, and daughter in law Sejal.

He was born in India and spent most of his earlier years there. He enjoyed playing cricket while earning a degree in chemistry. He moved to the US in the mid 80's after marrying his wife, of 37 years.

For the last 16 years he was working alongside his wife running the Subway of New Fairfield. He enjoyed watching the Yankees with his two children. He lived life with such exuberance, great humor, and huge heart.

The Patel Family would like to thank all the family and friends that have provided love, support, and prayers.

Services for Amrutkumar will be Friday August 21, 2020 from 10:00 - 12:00 pm at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St. N., Southbury. Burial will be private and at the families convenience.
