After a long illness, Allan Westervelt, 90, passed away peacefully at his home in Heritage Village, Southbury, CT on April 12, 2018.  A devoted father, he is survived by 6 children: Eve Caimano of Great Barrington, MA; Jaye Gmoser Werner of Seaford, DE; Sean Westervelt of Brookfield, CT; Danielle Westervelt of Woodbury, CT; Page Westervelt of Roxbury, CT; Ali Westervelt of Pearland, TX; and their spouses, Nick Caimano, George Werner, Cathy Westervelt, John Crane and Michele Westervelt.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and his devoted dog Eddie.  Allan is predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Dawn (Murphy) Westervelt and his beloved granddaughter Cassidy Westervelt.
