Allan David Russell (David), 91, of Southbury, CT and Queensbury, NY died unexpectedly on October 11th at his home in Southbury. Husband of Patricia Abernethy Russell, he was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Allan MacGillivray Russell and Marvel Codling Russell. He attended University School, Phillips Exeter Academy, Yale University, and Yale Law School. Shortly after arriving at Yale in the fall of 1942 he enlisted, joining the United States Army Air Force. At the Aero Medical Laboratory at Wright Field he participated in high altitude experiments with the B-17 using AAF oxygen equipment originally developed by his father. A member of the Miles Up Club
