Alice Henrietta (Overpeck) Myers, 89, of Woodbury, CT, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was the Widow of Harry Stout Myers. Alice was born February 2, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Earl and Alice (Wulfurst) Overpeck. Her family moved to Somerdale, NJ when she was very young and lived there for 75 years. She was president of the Somerdale School PTA for several years during the 1950's and President of the Somerdale Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary for several years. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Keplinger and her husband Edward of Woodbury, CT, Susan Cromwell and her husband David of Oxford, CT; her sons, Harry Myers Jr. and his wife Toni of Long Beach, MS, Kenneth Myers and his wife Jo Ann, Gerome Myers and his wife Mary Ann Klunk of Medford, NJ and Steven Myers and his wife Pam of Medford Lakes, NJ; her sister, Henrietta Owens of Williamstown. her brothers, Earl of South Carolina and Emil and his wife Ruth of Smyrna, Deleware;14 grandchildren, Janet Stokes, Edward Keplinger, Betsy Keplinger, Andrew Keplinger, Sandra Dalmish, Steven Myers, Kenneth Myers, Jr., Michael Myers, Matthew Myers, Geoffrey Myers, Sean Myers, Harry Jolley, Susan Cromwell and Devon Myers; 25 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sisters Ester Demo, Anna May Danfield, Blanche Turner, Evelyn Heimlich and her brothers, Arthur, Frank, John, Gerome.
