Albert Louis Smith, 95 of Bethlehem, died Friday, October 29, 2010 at the River Glen Health Center in Southbury. Mr. Smith was the widower of Margaret (Krupp) Smith. Mr. Smith was born August 21, 1915 in Falls, PA. He owned his own plumbing business, Smith Plumbing, retiring in 1993. He was a veteran of the Army serving during WW II. In the early 1950's he was the CT State Mixed Doubles Champion in Badminton. He is survived by two sons, Albert L. Smith of Meriden and Lenard A. Smith of Bethlehem; two daughters, Eileen Kania of Southington and Leslie Hydak of Vale, CO; a half brother, Ken Smith of Danbury and 3 grandchildren, Jonathon, Michael and Bethany. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Laraine Smith.
