Albert G. Sears Sr. 79, of Bridgeport passed away on June 24, 2021 after a brief illness. Albert was born December 26, 1941, the son of the late Albert G. and Edith (Barheit) Sears. Al was a hardworking man starting at the age of 8 when he started working in the fields all day long, cutting hay and picking apples.

When Al was 24 he met the woman who would become his wife, Ruth Parker. Ruth and Al were married in 1965 not long after they met but when you know, you know. They were married for 56 years until Albert's passing.

Al was good to his family and worked hard to provide for them. He worked for Asplundh Tree Expert Company for 20+ years and Lewis Tree Service for 5 years. He loved to tinker on his cars, to target shoot and Al loved a good time!

Al leaves behind his loving wife, Ruth, his son Albert Jr., daughter Patricia, and  a grandchild Jameson. He also is survived by his sister Grace. Besides his parents, Al was also predeceased by his sister Nancy.
