Agnes P. Kluczinsky, 94, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Shady Knoll Health Center in Seymour after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Kluczinsky, Sr. of Oxford.

Agnes was born April 22, 1918 in Willimantic, CT, daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna (Hanson) Bashura.
She was a retiree of Uniroyal Footwear of Naugatuck, an active parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Oxford, member of the former St. Thomas Ladies Guild, member of the Oxford Senior Citizens, and an avid bingo player. She especially enjoyed time spent with her grandson, RJ, when he was a youngster.

She is survived by two daughters; Janet Drapko and her husband Ray, Cindy McFadden; a grandson, RJ Drapko, all of Oxford; a sister Olga Sewall of Clearwater, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Joseph J. Kluczinsky, Jr., and her siblings Mary, Helen, Aloyza, John, and George.





The family deeply appreciates the compassionate care given to Agnes by VITAS Innovative Hospice Care, the entire staff at Shady Knoll; especially the staff on Willow B.

Services: In keeping with her wishes, private funeral services took place on Friday, May 25, with burial in Southford Cemetery with Father Dominic Valla of St. Thomas Church officiating.
