Mrs. Agnes C. Blum, age 82, of the Lutheran Home of Southbury died Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was the wife of the late Francis Blum.
Mrs. Blum was born May 7, 1930 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Emmett) Duffy. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Grammar School and Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury. She worked for the Republican American Newspaper in Waterbury and her hobbies included traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Woodbury.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Reichenback and her husband Herbert of Bethlehem, a step-daughter, Gayle DiBlasio and her husband Richard of FL, 3 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Anna Duffy and 4 brothers, Joseph, Francis, William and John Duffy.
