Adela Kruger Parmelee, 86 died Sunday, July 19th at the Middlebury Convalescent Home. She was predeceased by her husband James Lewis Parmelee.
Adela was born January 16, 1929 in New York City and grew up in Krumville, NY. She was the daughter of Daniel and Ella Kruger. She has a sister, Hilda Westcott residing in Florida and a brother George Kruger living in New York. She was predeceased by two brothers William and Walter Kruger.
Adela is survived by a son, Robert Parmelee of Bethlehem; two daughters, Jamie Norris and her husband John, of Palm Coast, FL and Joan Arnold and her husband Chris of Naugatuck, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Adela had been a nurse before she married and moved to Bethlehem where she resided for over 60 years and enjoyed country living. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed bird watching. While her children were in school, she had been involved with the PTO and was the 4H leader of the Golden Threads. She and her husband had been members of various antique car clubs the last being the Connecticut Crankin' Yanks. Her favorite past time for the last couple years was doing crossword puzzles.

Services: A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 7th at 11: 00 AM at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation: No calling hours will be held.
