Ruthie Baker was a wonderful woman and wife to my father, Robert Baker. They shared a very long friendship full of mutual friends before circumstances changed that friendship into love and marriage in the later years of their lives. I will miss Ruthie as I miss my father and mother. Thanks to David for being an amazing son and outstanding caretaker for Ruthie and Dad, putting aside his own needs for theirs.

Ruth was a dear friend of mine. We enjoyed many lunches and visits and many laughs.
She was such a caring and creative person.
She once painted a small pillow for
me - with a portrait of my yellow lab..
... all good memories of her will remain with me.

Thinking of you, David. My mother was 85 also, when she passed-on. She comes to me, in dreams, quite often. It is quite strange to no longer have the "physical" communication with her, that i always took for granted! After-all ....she was in my life longer than ANYONE
else. It takes some getting used to...... love and comfort

My deepest condolences to you, David, and your family. Ruth was a good friend of mine, years back, and I have warm memories of many years of friendship as well as working together here in Bantam, when her beloved little dog, Amy, would keep us all company at the store. I am so glad I had those years with your Mom and I think of her often. She was a gracious, warm and creative woman and will be missed by all who knew her.
