Quentin Rousseau Obituary

Bethlehem-

Quentin Michael Rousseau was born on August 15, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital and passed away in the loving arms of his parents on August 25, 2019 at Yale Children’s Hospital.  He was the son of Peter and Colleen Rousseau and little brother to Aquinnah Mary.

During Quentin’s short and difficult life he found solace in his mother’s touch and nourishment, his father's spirited tales of science fiction, and his sister’s teddy bear hugs and kisses.  Quentin’s room was filled with caring people and laughter which would often cause noise complaints.

Quentin is survived by his paternal grandmother Anne Marie Bennett and her husband Andrew Bennett of Camas, WA; uncle C. Anthony Chiappetta and his father C. Alan Chiappetta of Gaylordsville; great uncle and aunt, Greg and Rebecca Rienzi and their daughters Sophia and Ellis; maternal grandparents David and Maureen McCurdy of Bethlehem; great grandmothers Elizabeth Barry of Woodbury and Dorothy McCurdy of State College, PA.; Aunt and Uncle,  Rosemary (McCurdy) and Jason Ganson; godparents Patrick and Rebecca McCurdy and cousins Logan, Declan, Connell, Kieran, and Evan. Quentin is further survived by many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Quentin’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the wonderful medical team at Yale that showed such prowess, care, and compassion.
