Melissa Pell Thomson ll of Woodbury, CT died peacefully on October 23, 2018. She is survived by sisters Evie Burlinson and Abbie Spires both of England, nieces Alice Burlinson, Lucy Burlinson, Katherine Chu, and nephew Andrew Spires. Also surviving her are cousins near and far: Schuyler Thomson, Peter Thomson, Alexander Thomson, Blakey Shirey, Robert Whitmer, Walden Whitmer, John Whitmer, Alison Helms and Sarah Stiles.

Lissa was born on March 20, 1957 to the late John Schuyler Thomson and Melissa Pell Thomson. She attended St. Margaret’s School in Waterbury, Fox Hollow School in Lenox, MA and Rishworth School in Yorkshire, England. Lissa was qualified as a Master Gardner and owned a business, Worm Works, making Woodbury and surrounding areas extra lovely with her gardening talents.

Lissa and her wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2019.
