August 24, 1959 ~ July 13, 2019 (age 59)

Obituary

Marjie passed away peacefully at her home on July 13, 2019 with her family by her side.  Born on August 24, 1959, she was the daughter of Muriel (Crosby) St. Pierre and the late Fred St. Pierre. Marjie grew up in Woodbury, and then became a resident of the Lutheran Home.  For the last 4 ½ years, she lived in a private residence with loving caregivers and 2 wonderful housemates.

Marjie was a member of First Congregational Church in Woodbury, CT.  She graduated from Nonnewaug High School and attended Mattatuck Community College.

She enjoyed vacationing with her family at Cape Cod, listening to songs by the Beatles, and watching her favorite movies:  Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music.  Watercolor painting with her mom and sisters was a favorite pastime.

Most of all, she loved her family.  She is survived by her loving mother Muriel, her sister Audrey Jannetty and husband Richard, her sister Shirley Burnett and husband Steven, her niece Natalie Jaramillo and husband Alejandro, her niece Angela Villadolid and husband, Albert, her niece Erika Bautista and husband Daniel, her nephew, Michael Burnett and wife, Emma and four grandnieces and two grandnephews.

The family wishes to express its gratitude to her caregivers at “Jane’s Home” and to her Season’s hospice nurse who all took exceptional care of Marjie.  Marjie loved you all.

Private funeral services were held at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, Woodbury, CT. Donations in Marjie’s name can be made to Easter Seals (22 Tompkins Street, Waterbury, CT 06708)
