Marilyn was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I was away all summer and didn't visit her when I got back. I was saddened to think I missed the opportunity to connect with her again in Sept. She loved poetry and I would read poems to her on my visits last spring. I will always remember her warmth and gentle presence. My sincere condolences to her family.

Marilyn was truly a lovely person and I was always happy to have known her. She and Patsy were two very special people and my late husband Joe Puzzo and I spent many a cousin's lunch with both of them. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I `m sorry to read of Marilyn`s passing.I taught English with her at Crosby from 1969 until her retirement.She was a wonderfully dedicated teacher.She had a genuine love for teaching and Crosby.Her kind will be greatly missed.

My sincere condolences to the family of Miss Miller. She was my freshman English teacher and Miss Pierriello was my sophomore English teacher and National Honor Society advisor at Crosby High School. They were two of the finest teachers I was fortunate to have. They added fuel to my love of reading and literature. I am sorry that I never had the opportunity to thank them after my high school years. Their exuberance for teaching and the skills I gained in their classrooms continue with me today.
