Lillian Platt Obituary

South Britain – Lillian R. Platt 94, passed away at New Milford Hospital on May 28, 2019.  She was the widow of Willis (Bill) R. Platt who passed away in 2011.  They had been married for 70 years. Lillian was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Norton.

She is survived by her son William Platt (Judi) from New Hampshire, her daughters Marjorie Whitehead (Edwin) from Washington and Linda Kennedy (Robert) from Warren.  She is also survived by her grandchildren William Kennedy (Allyson) from Sharon, James Kennedy (Wendy), from West Cornwall, David Kennedy from Litchfield, Andrew Platt (Christina) from Sutton, Massachusetts and Julie Detlaff (Rob) from Thompson Falls, Montana.  Also surviving are her 9 great-grandchildren Amanda, David, Thomas, William, Patrick, Sarah, Jody, Billy and Ryan and her devoted caregiver Carmen

In addition to her husband and parents, Lillian was predeceased by her sisters Charlotte Harvey, Barbara Derry, Dorothy Randall and brother George Norton.

Graveside services will be held at Pierce Hollow Cemetery in South Britain on Saturday, June 15 at 11:00 am. All family and friends are welcome.
