Joseph Cirrincione Obituary

Joseph “Joe” Cirrincione, born August 13, 1955, passed away in his home on June 13, 2019. Joe was a native of Mount Vernon, New York who spoke fondly of his time growing up on Fisher Drive with his beloved parents, Joseph and Carmela “Molly” Cirrincione, and many other lifelong friends. In his young adult years, Joe worked with his father on a bread delivery truck, and later attended college at New York Institute of Technology to achieve a degree in Computer Science. For the past 15 years, Joe worked at Praxair Inc. in Danbury, CT. He loved sharing stories of his childhood friends, his mother and father, and his many adventures in the tristate area. He has lived in Oxford, CT since 2004, where he enjoyed fishing, reading history and science-fiction novels, relaxing near the water, watching his favorite movies, spending time with his daughters and their friends, and eating his favorite foods which included steak, bacon, Chinese food, and firecracker ice pops. His daughters describe him as a “character”: fun-loving, carefree (except when it came to his daughters, then he was a worry wart), a jokester with a sense of humor, and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.  Most of all, he was known for the great love he had for his daughters and granddaughter.

Joseph is survived by his twin daughters, Samantha and Veronica Cirrincione, his six-month-old granddaughter Athena Ealy, his friend and former wife Nicole Eighmy, his step-daughter Dawn Bumford, and many other close friends and extended family.
