Though miles and time have separated us, Helen and all the Noonans remain close in my heart....dear Meg dancing with my son, Scott, at middle school dances; John being in class with my Megan; and I myself having the wonderful experience of teaching Brendan at The Early Learning Center. It was with such sadness that I learned of Helen's passing. I am praying that God gives all of you strength in the days ahead. Helen was an inspiration to all who had the honor to know her and to have her as a friend. May all of you find comfort in knowing she touched so many people...and that she is at peace in Heaven, holding Meg's hand.

We're Gretchen Noonan's parents and, hence, share a grandchild--Tobias--with Helen and John Sr. We have became very fond of Helen and John Sr. since Gretchen and John Jr.'s wedding. Helen was always very cheerful and friendly, and we shared a lot of laughs with Helen and John. We'll miss Helen's big smile and her big heart. Our thoughts go out to "Big John" and the entire extended Noonan family and friends.

We are so sorry for all the family for the loss of a wife, mother, sibling and grandchildren. Even though we do not have the opportunity to see one another it has been wonderful to see the love, joy and caring all your families have shared on facebook. Regretfully we are leaving for Europe tomorrow or we would have made an effort to come. On our layover at JFK we will have a toast to Helen.
