Florence A. Dojny

DOJNY, Florence A. (Krueger) age 90 of Woodbury passed away on March 16, 2019. She was born in Norwich, CT on September 9, 1928 daughter of Mary Grayley and John Krueger. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Stanley of 55 years. Until her retirement, she was employed by the State of Connecticut. She is survived by her sons Mark (Carol) Dojny of Seymour, Robert (Maria) Dojny of New Hampshire and daughter, Teresa (Joseph) Mangini of Woodbury. Her grandchildren, Jill (Bill) Volmar, Lynn Signoriello, Mark Dojny Jr., Jessica Zynch and Joey Mangini. Her great-grandchildren, Morgan Signoriello, Paul & Brooke Volmar and Benjamin Zynch. She is also survived by her sisters, Greta Klimas and Marcia Drake. Her brothers Richard and Larry Krueger and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her stepmother, Eleanor Krueger, sister Rose McLachlan and brother John Krueger. Florence and Stanley, Flo & Red, enjoyed ballroom and square dancing for many years. They also enjoyed traveling and camping in their motor coach throughout the country. Florence’s family would like to thank her loving caretaker, Enkeleda (Kate) Dautaj. Friends may call at the Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street, Woodbury on Wednesday, March 20th from 6-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Teresa’s (Prince of Peace) Church on Thursday, March 21st, at 10 am. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Research Children’s Hospital.
