Edward T Carey

Edward Timothy Carey,76, formerly of Waterbury and Woodbury, passed away Monday morning, April 1, 2019, at his home. Mr. Carey was born July 16, 1942, in Scranton Pa., son of Grace and the late Leo Carey. Ed proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959 until his discharged in 1962. He was a financial adviser for Merrill Lynch and later employed as a sales professional for Marino Oil.

 He is survived by his mother, Grace Carey; his brothers Gerald and Mark Carey; his sister Maureen Carey; his nephew Leo Carey and niece Meghan Carey.

A Mass will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the St. Teresa of Avila Church, 246 Main St. South, Woodbury.
