Dorothy M. DaGrosa, 88, of Heritage Village, Southbury,Ct. died November 30, 2018 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Vincent, in February 2018.
Dorothy was born March 21,1930 in Mahanoy City,Pa, the daughter of Vincent and Dorothy (Metzger) Matulaitis. She was a graduate of Mahanoy Township High School, Class of 1947.
Dorothy was a homemaker and devoted mother to three children. Vincent DaGrosa and his wife Deborah of Edison,NJ, Christopher DaGrosa of Dobbs Ferry,NY and Dorothy Pierce and her husband Michael of Southbury,CT. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Michelle DaGrosa,Freehold,NJ, Valerie Wille and her husband Paul, Jackson,NJ, Rebecca and Michael Pierce Southbury,CT and four great grandchildren, Aidan and Connor Lindner, Olivia and Gianna Wille, and several nieces and nephews
Dorothy was a former office mgr. at Custom Crafts in Danbury. She was a member of the Heritage Village Women's and Quilting Club. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, watching sports, especially UCONN basketball and Tuesday ladies lunches were her favorites.

A private memorial and internment will be at a later date. Munson Lovetere Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
