Diane Marie (Lockwood) Whitcomb

Diane Marie Whitcomb (Lockwood) of Woodbury, CT, 72, passed away peacefully at her home on August 8, 2019.  She is now in the presence of Jesus her Lord and Savior.  She was survived by her loving husband Charles, her children Shelli Ferguson, Susan Heiland, and Jennifer (Thomas) Kraus, and her sister Mary Ann (Gary) Viscione.  She goes before her adored grandchildren Kirstie Kraus, Courtney (Matt) Simons, Jonah Heiland, Rebekah Heiland, Nicole (Bryson) Martin and Thomas Kraus III.  Diane is preceded by her parents Vernon and Clorinda Lockwood and her sister Claudia Cassidy.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews and beloved cat Milo.

Her most cherished time was spent with her husband, children and grandchildren.  It was heaven on earth for her to entertain her family and friends around her campfire at Timber Creek.  Some of her favorite past times were Saturday night dinners with Chuck, Tai Chi at the Senior Center and walks with friends at Veteran’s Memorial Park.

To celebrate her life there will be a memorial service on her birthday, Saturday August 31, 2019 at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School St., Woodbury, CT from 11am to 1pm.  In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
