David Hozer

David Hozer, 46, of Southbury CT passed away on September 15, 2019 surrounded by family after a car accident early Saturday morning on Sept. 14, 2019.

Born on March 5, 1973 to parents Lewis and Joyce Hozer of Naugatuck. David’s whole world was his four children. There was no other place he would have rather been than at the soccer field, dance studio, basketball court & the cross-country trails watching his children. There wasn’t a mountain he wouldn’t have climbed for them.

He was a well-respected financial advisor & employed as an Investment Advisor Representative at Barnum Financial Group. His radiant smile lit up the room. David was loved very much and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, Lewis and Joyce Hozer, his sister Wendy, his precious gems, Jacob, Jaden, Aryella & Ava. His Uncle Howard Lurie, Risa Hozer as well as many cousins, nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 12:00pm at Temple B’nai Israel located at 444 Main Street North Southbury, CT. There will be a private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to National Financial Services, fbo the Finkel-Hozer Children’s Fund, and may be mailed to Barnum Premier Client Group, 45 Glastonbury Blvd, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
