Constance (Bartow) Zombar, age 70, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, January 5, 2018.  Born December 19, 1947 to Homer and Janet (Smith) Bartow in Cooperstown, NY, Connie was a long-time resident of Woodbury, CT.  She graduated Masuk High School in Monroe in 1965.  She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Zombar in 1966, and they raised 2 children: Virginia (Garms) and Michael.  Robert pre-deceased her in 2001.  She retired from a long a career in Real Estate in 2008.  She enjoyed volunteering at the Red Barn Thrift Shop in Woodbury, and made many friends there.  Connie spent her life surrounded by her family and friends.  She enjoyed traveling, music, gardening, reading, playing cards and spending time with people she loved.  In addition to her daughter Virginia Garms and husband William, and her son Michael and wife Donna, she leaves behind her faithful companion Ernest Farrow with whom she shared the last 15 years of her life.  She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Adam, Ryan and Katherine Garms, and Alexandra and Natalie Zombar.  She also leaves behind 2 brothers: James Bartow and wife Carol of Milford and their children Corinne (Mercaldi) and Jeremy, and William Bartow and wife Sue of Naugatuck and their daughter Amanda.  She enjoyed her life to its fullest and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.   Memorial services will be held at First Congregational Church in Woodbury on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church of Woodbury, 218 Main Street South, Woodbury CT  06798.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Munson Lovetere Funeral Home.
