Constance V. (Aurilio) Puglio

Constance (Connie) Puglio, age 91, of Woodbury passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Danbury Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was the widow of Joseph Puglio. Connie was born in Bridgeport on November 18, 1927. She was the daughter of Liberty and Salvatore Aurilio. Connie worked on the Puglio farm in Bridgeport for years. She moved to Woodbury 15 years ago.

She loved her friends and community at Spruce Bank Farm. She enjoyed going to parties and trips as well as sitting outside talking to friends and enjoying the scenery. She also liked playing bingo, poker and the occasional casino trip. She was full of personality and loved by many.

Connie is survived by her loving son John and his wonderful wife Jeannette of Woodbury, and her devoted daughter Susan Carrano of Hamden, her granddaughter Jennifer Kern and her husband Billy of Bethlehem, Ct.,  grandson Joseph Puglio of Littlestown, Pa.  She was pre-deceased by her granddaughter Jessica Puglio. Connie is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Danah and Emily Kern and Airman John Puglio. She was so proud of all three.

Connie had a private service and burial, per her wishes. Donations can be made to the Woodbury Ambulance Association, PO Box 581, Woodbury, CT. 06798.
