Kathleen Donlin, age 77, of Woodbury, Connecticut passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2020, surrounded by loved ones at St. Mary’s Hospital’s Hospice Unit.
Kathleen was born on February 5, 1943, in Elizabeth, NJ to Denis Nolan Moulder and Ursula P. Gauleni-Moulder. Kathleen married Andrew Donlin on May 9, 2007, in Stuart, Florida.
Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband Andrew Donlin; step-daughters, Catherine Donlin, Patricia Afonso, and Denise Yonezuka; and step-son, Ralis Kahn.
She was preceded in death by Denis Moulder (Father), Ursula Moulder (Mother), Gail Stewart (sister), and Morgan Stewart (Nephew).
Kathleen spent most of her career working as a freelance graphic artist in New York City. She was also the owner of Kidd’s Antiques in Woodbury. Her original art exhibitions have been on display at the Woodbury and Whittemore libraries. Kathleen had a patent on Lace Sticky Notes and published The Dictionary of Graphic Art Terms. Together with her husband, Andrew, they compiled the writings of local Maine writers and self-published a book titled Behind the Purple Door while living in Belfast, Maine.
Per Kathleen’s wishes, Cremation services were carried out by Munson-Lovetere at Stone Family Cremation Services in Southbury.
In lieu of formal services, Andrew will be planning a celebration of her life on their Woodbury property in the near future. He will be in touch with family and friends.
