I just saw this on Facebook. I am devastated. We grew up together and I am so upset that I missed the services. I ran into Kurstin at the bank about a year ago and we talked for what it seemed like hours. She will surely be missed. My heart goes out to her family. She was truly an amazing person and her laugh was infectious.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I don't no if you remember me but I'm John Holland's daughter. He passed away 4 years ago June 28th and Mom passed away this year on June 21st. You use to cut our hair, and she was just yelling at her brother. They would also run around the house, chasing each other! She will be sadly missed. Memories are all we have and they are very special!!!

My sincere condolences to Kurstin's family. I had the pleasure of working with her as a part-time employee at Alderson Funeral Home and also knowing her threw my full time employment at Pine Grove Cemetery . She always had a great smile and a funny story, she will be missed.

To the Berghauser & Fidalgo families, I am so sorry to hear of Kurstin's passing. We were the 2 German girls in grade school. We met up again a few years ago at the Dairy Bar in Prospect & it was like no time had passed between us. We joked & giggled like we were back in 5th grade. I remember teaching her the ABC's in sign-language, so we could "talk" in class. The teacher separated us, so we took up sign-language to get around that. I'll always think of her with a smile or laughing. God bless you all.

To tbe Berghauser and Fidalgo families - My sincerest condolences to you. I met Kurstin in 6th grade back in 1977 - yep, 40 years. We also sang together in high school and my one year in college. She was an absolute joy. I'm glad she wad a part of my life. Until we meet again, dear friend - rest easy.

Kurstin was a dedicated and consummate funeral director/embalmer whose talents I missed when she went to work at Munson-Lovetere. She flourished there in any event and I know they enjoyed having her there these past many years. Kurt, I'll always think of you whenever I hear a woman snort when she laughs. Sleep well.
