Frank Anthony Pacilio, 79, of Saw Pit Hill Road, Woodbury died on January 26th after a short illness. Mr. Pacilio was born on May 6th, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York. He is a graduate of Mepham High School in Merrick, New York and Cooper Union in New York City.
Frank’s professional career was distinguished by his work as a Professional Engineer, and an independent home building contractor. He built more than seventy homes in the local area, including his own house in Woodbury, where he lived for 46 years.
Mr. Pacilio was active in community activities, volunteering on the building committee for St. Teresa of Avila Church and serving as Chairman of the Public Building Commission for the Town of Woodbury.
Frank was predeceased by his wife, Veronica, and son, Frank Jr. He leaves a daughter, Mary Pacilio Haggerty of Sandy Hook; a son, John M. Pacilio of Southport, CT; and five grandchildren.
Calling hours are from 3 pm to 5 pm Sunday, Jan. 29, at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School Street, Woodbury. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, Jan. 30 at St. Teresa Church, 146 Main St., Woodbury.
