Edward Lee Wolf, age 46, of Yorktown Heights, New York, passed away January 7, 2017, on Tortola, British Virgin Island due to a tragic swimming accident.

 

Edward was born on March 15, 1970, in Farmington Township, Michigan. Edward is survived by his loving daughter, Autumn Grace. This was her first year running track which made her father very proud. She truly loved her daddy and misses him very much.

 

Edward was engaged to Ms. JoAnn Marone of Croton on Hudson, NY, who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his biological father Edward L. Roden, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Rogers, his cousin Corey Hallums and his aunt and godmother Diane Hallums.

 

Edward is survived by his loving parents, Patricia and William M. Wolf of Southbury, CT; his brother Robert C. Wolf and wife Jenni, and his nieces Grace, Kate and nephew, Sullivan of Manhattan, NY; his brother, Randall J. Wolf and wife Deborah, and niece, Madeline and nephew, Evan of Greenwich, CT; his sister Laura Opela and nephew Geoffrey and Zachary of Austin, TX; his grandmothers Mrs. Willa D. Pullen and Mrs. Paula C. Dickson from Michigan; his Aunt Victoria and Uncle David Brown and children, Morgan, Ashley, Aliza and Noah of Avondale, AZ; his Aunt Jill and Uncle Colin Chubb and cousins, Melissa and Erika of Brighton, MI; his Uncle Robert and Aunt Sofia Rogers and cousins, Danielle Goodloe and Christina Wiegers in Michigan; and his Uncle Richard and Aunt Gloria Rogers of Dearborn Heights, MI; and his cousins, Jay, Wade, Tracey, Trina Hallums in Michigan.

 

Edward graduated from Lakeland High School, Yorktown Heights, NY, in 1988. Edward received his Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance from Loyola College Maryland in 1993. He married Rhonda Jonas in 1999 and had a beautiful baby girl, Autumn Grace in 2002, the love of his life. Ed enjoyed performing in community theatres starting with “Melissa and the Bronx Boy” (himself) 1986, “Gypsy” 1999, “My Fair Lady” 2000, “Hello, Dolly!” 2001, “That’s Pentatanment” 2002, “Carousel” 2003 with his baby girl Autumn Grace, “Anything Goes” 2004, and “Guys and Dolls” 2005.

 

Edward was employed by Merrill Lynch until he decided to pursue his passion of becoming a health and fitness professional. Edward always had a strong interest in helping people. He was a Cub Scout, Boy Scouts and loved sports. He was active, both playing and officiating Lacrosse, soccer, baseball and basketball, but most recently looked forward to playing Frisbee and swimming with his daughter, Autumn Grace.

 

A celebration Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, January 28, 2017, at the United Church of Christ in Southbury, CT. Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home,Southbury, CT, is handling the arrangements.

 

Edward was a very kind and gentle soul, trying to find his place in this world through helping others. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and clients. Rest in peace Edward and know you will never be forgotten and loved always.
