Dear Eugene and Ted, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was my favorite person in River Glen. I met her while I was a CNA there while I was in nursing school. I continued visiting her after I became an RN at another place. She and I would have deep conversations about God/religion, Obama, Hillary, Trump, the Women's March which I attended and she wanted to hear all about WHY, feminism, motherhood, wifehood, daughterhood, womanhood, adulthood, childhood, human nature, and Downton Abbey. I thought of her as my grandmother. She was a good listener and story teller, and was always curious about the world. She was a protector of vulnerable people in her own environment. Some people could not speak up for themselves so Dorothy would advocate on their behalf. She was a lovely lady. I'll miss visiting her. I know she will be missed by many.

I’m so very sorry for your los . I took care of Dorthy all the 9 years I worked there. I loved her like grandmother. I still keep in touch with Kerry and Shannon and they keep me updated on her. I visited her in the hospital while she was there. Kerry said it’s not the same without her being there. She was a lovely lady and will be missed.
