Lissa Lovetere-Stone, the niece of the late Joseph P. Lovetere, currently serves as President of the Funeral Homes. A lifelong resident of the Woodbury-Southbury area, she is a graduate of Holy Cross High School in Waterbury. She received a Bachelors Degree from Boston University and an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from Mount Ida College.

Lissa is the third generation to work at her family’s funeral homes where she has been a licensed funeral director since 1990.

She is well known and active in the local business community, most recently serving on the Board of Directors for both the Woodbury & Southbury Business Associations. A resident of Bethlehem, she is married to Mark D. Stone, and is a mother of two children, Andrew and Evelyn.

Lissa is proud of continuing the commitment to the community that her family started decades ago. The family-owned, independently operated funeral home continues to maintain respect among the local townspeople.
