We are a family owned business that takes great pride in being part of the Woodbury and Southbury communities since in 1822. When Earle Munson purchased the funeral home, which was originally a furniture shop, he remained faithful in providing quality products and services to his friends and neighbors. Joseph Lovetere joined the business in 1964 and both men built upon their good reputation and strong work ethic. As the company grew, the Southbury location was built to reflect the family’s historic tradition of service within a more contemporary setting.
Earle Munson and Joseph Lovetere were well known and trusted members of the community. After all this time, our funeral homes are still family-owned and operated, where their descendants David A. DeBisschop and Lissa Lovetere-Stone, play an active role in the business, and in the community. We ensure our families the best service, as we treat everyone we serve as part of our own family.
